Mr Obama seems to think he can bully the Supreme Court, or that he can lie to us concerning legal precedents, the law, and the facts on Obamacare and the case pending in front of the nation’s highest court. But, it is more than that. He has unfurled the progressive/socialist flag he has kept hidden from view. The runaway spending, the lack of a budget, the purchase of votes using entitlements funded by your hard earned dollars (known as wealth redistribution and corruption), the double talk on energy policy (there is none, other than make prices rise–just as promised before he was elected), the hand wringing over business and the middle class as he socks them with higher taxes, more debt, higher fuel prices, inflation, and continuing, increasing regulatory terror by his EPA, is now so clear, that even his smooth, glib tongue can’t conceal it.

In 1855 we were an emerging power. Immigrants from across the earth came to America, enthused with the promise, the opportunity and the American spirit. That is what my novels are about. Self reliance, self determination, strength of conviction, passions and the land. In trying to justify higher pump prices, and downplay stated policy of making gas prices rise–a policy made clear prior to his election–Obama states frequently, “America has only 2% of the world’s oil reserves”. He forgot to mention the estimated (by his own energy department, no less) up to an additional 1.2 TRILLION barrels under American soil he and EPA are trying to block. More than Saudi Arabia. Or, “our production is greater now than at any time in past eight years.” He omits more than 90% of those wells were permitted prior to his taking office–and notice how no claim was made as to any increase in federal lands permits (future production) during his tenure? Have ya heard much about the European meltdown lately? Uh-oh. Think that mess is all magically better? Unemployment? The books are cooked according to top economists. How about inflation? They all agree on the same twists – they want to control you, your thoughts, your speech, your life, your health, – down to whether you live or die – the bigger the government the better the government, America is bad and the cause of all the worlds ills, and entitlement is the Holy Grail. The shadow government is scary, its individual members even more frightening, and the fact that the people of this country elected a President who has staffed his White House with these souls is downright petrifying. And, just so happens GE and US banks have a 430 BILLION European exposure (gee–think there is a connection?) There are lessons to be learned from the financial shambles that was once the European Union–but will we reverse course from the same intentional policies of the current plate of U.S. “Leaders”–and the same result? We need economic and military security. Think again–these dots are so closely aligned one does not need to draw a line between them. Think they are focused on cutting spending? Hah! Fed expenditures are up 5% for the year, 93% for the ten years (the bulk of that since January 2008) and state money dole outs are up 72% for the same time period.

Girlfriends on boards, administration insiders getting hundreds of millions of our dollars, and highly touted “green jobs”–to the extent they exist–springing up in foreign lands with our tax money. And there’s more you haven’t heard–but that is Reid’s job–to tell you. The media doesn’t bother to find out or tell, and this government is only too happy to sweep the sordid dirt under the carpet (with the broom you bought them) while they distract you with nonsense. An unhealthy and unholy alliance is Soros, Unions, Code Pink, the KGB, the Communist and Socialist Parties of America, MoveOn.org, the White House and the Progressive (formerly the Democratic) Party. As Van Jones and others of his ilk are fond of saying, “from the top down, from the bottom up, and from the inside out.” It is all manifesting itself right now, prime time, in New York, 250 other locations around the United States–and according to Diane Sawyer , “in a thousand countries around the world” (slight overstatement by 803 or so countries, Diane). Minority, yes. A minority of the liberal minority? Yes. Although Obama took 80% of the Electoral College, he was elected with only 53% of the popular vote – hardly the “popular landslide” the mainstream media would wish you to believe. In addition to overall electorate dissatisfaction with his handling of the economy growing to over seventy-two percent – Obama’s support with other constituencies that were key to that 53% in 2008- Jews, Latinos, “Under 30’s” – is down by almost half.

His anti-Israel, pro-Arab policies, and the canyon of the economy are partly to blame. But, more and more folks are waking up to real Obama and Crew – socialists, payoffs to big labor at the expense of the other 90% of the population, flat out lies about tax rate completely contradictory to CBO and IRS reports, foment of class warfare, corruption: using your money, i.e. Solyndra; political favoritism i.e. GE; and graft at the expense of national security, i.e. LightSquared.
