Things My Mom Taught Me are the simple lessons all our mothers teach us when we are young. We all hear many of the same ones, “don’t lie”, “ask politely” and “treat everyone the same”. These lessons apply to today’s changing world every bit as much as when our mothers learned them. You’ll hear how industry leaders employed these rules for life to manifest their dreams. Join us week for a refresher of the basics!

If you ever listened to music in the 50′s through the 80″s this is the one show you need to listen to. I had the honor to be the last person to interview Don before he died, so this interview is close to my heart. I know if you listen you realize who awesome this show is but also what he gave to music.

Today my guest are Julie Healy and Kelly Higgs. They both had very promising careers but gave them up to raise their children. They talk about the wonderful rewards of staying home but also they give an honest account of the hardships are entailed in giving up your career.
Julie and Kelly let us all know how important it is that women make the decision based on what is important to them.
It is a wonderful show and anyone who is going through this, planning on it or knows someone who has will want to hear what they say.

I have my brother and Barry Hunt on as our guest letting us know about the music from the British Invasion to Woodstock.
Barry gives us an absolute awesome picture of what England was like at that time, being the center of rock music. My brother is one of the most knowledgeable people of music of the American rock scene at that time. Listing to them talk about that music era is like seeing a prize fight ringside, something you will never forget.
In our segment “My house that built me“, Dan Shannon is our guest and really gives a new look at what his house meant to him as a home.
