Hope, Healing and WellBeing – Surviving Incurable Cancer with Laurie Beck.

Laurie Beck is a survivor of stage 4 lymphoma and leukemia who was diagnosed in 2004. Instead of starting chemotherapy, she decided to get a second opinion which recommended “watchful waiting” and coming back three months later. Her mother suggested Laurie try acupuncture and massage to help her reduce the tremendous stress of her illness. So Laurie decided to incorporate these plus Reiki, Traditional Chinese Medicine, meditation and visualization to foster healing and relaxation. She asked questions of various physicians to find a medical team who supported her holistic efforts. Her story of surviving what she was told would be a terminal illness in captured in her book I am Living to Tell: Surviving Incurable Cancer Without Killing My Mother, My Granny or My Ex.

Laurie describes how her serious illness was the catalyst for spiritual growth and healing. She decided to let go and “give it up to God.” She believes her illness was a great blessing that healed her heart, soul and spirit. She knew there was a plan for her life and is now grateful for everything that happens to her. For more information please visit
