In honor of going local, I’m promoting the movement with a food and wine tasting, serving only goods produced here in the Lone Star State. Artisan cheeses, olive oils, dried meats and—you guessed it—WINE! But being new to Texas wines I wanted to learn more about them, so this week I get on the phone with Nichole Bendele of Becker Vineyards, a hill country winery.
