Laughter died the day he did. I knew I would never laugh or know joy again. There is not much that is humorous about grief. Although there are moments when we can either laugh or cry and sometimes we do them both at the same time. My guest today is very serious about laughter. She specializes in studying how laughter and humor can be used to ease suffering while grieving. Nancy Weil is the Director of Bereavement Support at Mount Calvary Cemetery and the Catholic Diocese Cemeteries in Buffalo, New York where she serves as a Funeral Celebrant and is a Certified Grief Management Specialist.
