I hear men and women complaining all the time about how hard or how complicated love and family relationships are.
Women and men seemed confused about what the other is saying; or why they are reacting or responding they way they do; and what the heck they are doing in general.
It doesn’t seem to matter how long you are married or how many times you are married, everyone seems to be completely mystified about how to sail easily through this thing we call marriage.
My guest for this episode is a bright, articulate and very interesting guy who decided to write a book and try to make sense of dating, love and marriage. Dr. Charles Rawlings is a former neurosurgeon, a lawyer whose firm specializes in patients injured by medical malpractice and the author of It Really Is That Complicated.
I found this book to be an easy read and tremendously enjoyable because Dr. Rawlings invites the reader into his thoughts, experiences and reflections. I felt like I was right there with him experiencing the passion and the pain as he was telling his story and trying to make sense out of those Universal experiences so many of us can relate to.
Dr. Rawlings is a Southern Gentleman, very warm and personable and a tremendous conversationalist. Don’t miss this episode with Dr. Rawlings. We cover the gambit of dating and marriage ups and downs, and I’m certain you will hear some things that will tickle your heart and inspire your spirit .
