Hope, Healing and WellBeing – How to Get Your Life Unstuck with John Curran

In his work as an author, teacher, certified master coach and inspiring speaker,
John Curran‘s passion is to help others realize their full potential. From studying the habits of very successful people, he learned about the power of the mind, including how self-care practices like meditation have an impact on our minds. In his coaching practice, he helps people get unstuck so John shares some of his favorite tools for moving forward. Meditation helps get our minds quiet so you can heal, think more clearly and use more of the prefrontal cortex, often called the “CEO of the brain.” He explains the process of his favorite self-care practice, transcendental meditation.

One of the most common ways to be stuck is procrastination so John shares tips for how to break the task into small pieces to get it done. For example, combine pleasurable activities with something you don’t enjoy, like playing music while performing household tasks. Effective time management is another important aspect of getting unstuck. John suggests ideas for not wasting time, dealing with “paralysis by analysis” and overcoming the quest for perfection and always need to “be right.”
