Sara Chetkin was diagnosed with scoliosis, a curvature of the spine, when she was fifteen years old, resulting in much discomfort and pain. She spent much of the next fifteen years exploring both her own spiritual growth and various healing techniques. In 2007, she earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Sara also is a Ro-Hun therapist and ordained minister with the Church of Wisdom, Delphi University. As a result of her own journey of healing, Sara decided to write her book, The Healing Curve: A Catalyst to Consciousness.
Sara says Ro-Hun helps a person go back into his or her life and look at pivotal moments that help determine about who they are, their place in the world and explore resulting belief systems and choices made. Often, beliefs are inaccurate so RoHun helps someone go back and find the moment of decision, and be more in touch with healing belief systems. It incorporates energy work and talk therapy, and is organized through the chakras. Ro-Hun helped Sara achieve important breakthroughs in her own healing journey.
Sara discusses other healing modalities that have been helpful ranging from psychic surgery in Brazil to a wise Maori healer in New Zealand. Her book includes several profound spiritual experiences that enabled her to “connect with her center and the stillness within.” Her illness has progressed in a positive way, although she is not fully healed physically but she continues to “create comraderie” with her spine.
