Most of the time when we hear the term caregiver we think of an adult child taking care of an aging parent. But there are 5.5 million military caregivers across the United States, with nearly 20 percent caring for someone who has served since 9/11. This week’s guest, Rajeev Ramchand, an Epidemiologist at the RAND Corporation and the author of Hidden Heroes: America’s Military Caregivers discusses the prevalence and landscape of military caregivers and the type of care and support needed for this unique group.
As we grow older we spend time engaging in life review – thinking about our past experiences and relationships with our friends and family. This week’s Resource Report features My Reflections, an on-line program that enables anyone to upload video, voice recordings, photos and writings to create a personal family story.
