Mississippi’s Governor’s Race Shifts into Full Gear!

It’s on!  The Mississippi’s governor race has shifted into full political gear and we have Lt. Governor Tate Reeves and former Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court, Bill Waller, Jr. both on this week’s show.  Both gentlemen are candidates for the Republican nomination for governor in the great state of Mississippi.  Last week we had the third Republican in the race, state Representative Robert Foster on the show.  For our listeners in Mississippi this will be a useful show as you decide who you will be voting for.  For all our other listeners around the country this governor’s race could be a foreshadowing of things to come in the election year of 2020.  Many national democrats want to see this red state turn blue with its next governor because they see a strong attorney general in Mississippi who has never lost a statewide political race running as a democrat.  Indeed, this democratic attorney general is the only democratic statewide office holder in Mississippi.  Before we get to our exclusive interviews with Tate Reeves and Bill Waller, Jr., Doc Holliday first has some funny lines coming from Never-Trumper, columnist George Will.
