Create What You Speak

Sloane Freemont

I found myself recently wanting to make fun of myself for moving into a different phase in my life, and then I was like ‘wait a minute!’. It’s ok for things to change! In this week’s show, I talk about moving into different phases into our lives, our reluctance to do so and how we are really prolonging our own misery by staying in something that no longer serves us. There are many reasons we do this, out of guilt, fear and any other excuse we can think of to torment ourselves. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Change is ok. We are ok when we change. And often that change is exactly what we need to move forward and on to the next thing in life that brings us the joy we are all seeking. If you are afraid to move on to the next phase in your life, this episode is for you. Even if you’re not afraid to move on to the next phase, this episode will give you some examples from my own life of why you shouldn’t wait. Hint: the thing you want may not always be there! Songs this week include Good Old Days by Macklemore & There Will Be Another by Bronze Radio Return.
