Biography
Easy Access Travel Talk Radio with Eric Lipp
Eric Lipp is executive director of Open Doors Organization, a Chicago non-profit dedicated to improving accessibility in the travel industry. The organization quickly gained media attention in 2002 by sponsoring the first-ever nationwide market study of travelers with disabilities. ODO’s is currently involvement in all sectors of travel and tourism—from aviation and cruising to researching access guides.
Joining Eric on the show are colleagues and program coordinators Brittany Stern and Kenneth Hill, both travel with disabilities to conduct training in awareness, sensitivity and etiquette. Special guests to the show are Laurel Van Horn, research director for ODO and columnist for “Able News” and “Venture” magazine, and Constantine (Gus) Zografopoulos, founder of the Kostas Z Foundation, an Illinois non-profit dedicated to providing information and promoting participation and integration among people with disabilities.
