Kristi Meyer is a Certified Professional Organizer® who helps individuals with specialized organizational needs, such as Compulsive Hoarding, Chronic Disorganization, ADHD and other physical and mental challenges. She is also an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), a Certified Family Manager® Coach, and a member of the International Association of Virtual Organizers (IAVO). Additionally, she has earned multiple certificates through the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), including Chronic Disorganization & Hoarding Specialist.
Kristi has a BS in Psychology, a BA in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Teaching. After 13 years as a National Board Certified educator, she quit teaching and started her own organizing business. Since then, she has had articles published in several newspapers, the NAPO News, and the ICD publication, “The Chronical.” Additionally, she has been a guest on several local television programs in the Charleston, SC area, and will be appearing as an assistant organizer in an episode of A&E’s “Hoarders” this television season.
Kristi is also highly skilled in working with clients with more general organizing needs, including all areas of residential homes and paper management. She conducts informational speaking presentations and organizational workshops.
Kristi, who has lived in several different states, as well as multiple foreign countries, now resides in the Charleston, SC area. She has a supportive husband, Brett, and a beautiful eight-year-old daughter, Emma, who apparently has inherited Kristi’s organizing gene. Kristi was asked on Facebook to describe herself. Kristi strives to provide the Charleston area & far beyond with the same organizational skills that have led to her own success in her family and professional life. She does this by always remembering that there are two “I”s in organizing, but neither of them are hers, they are her clients and listeners.
