Biography
Doctors Are More Harmful Than Germs with Dr. Harvey Bigelsen M.D.
Harvey Bigelsen M.D. has been a political leader in “Natural Medicine” for the past 30 years. He started off his career as an ophthalmologist in Princeton, New Jersey and became disillusioned very rapidly with the care and the results of the standard medical system. He moved to Arizona and started to study holistic medicine and became very involved in the political aspects of healthcare. In 1978 he helped found the American Holistic Medical Association and was elected to their Board of Trustees. He co-authored the Arizona Homeopathic Medical Practice Act in 1981, which allowed licensed MDs and Osteopaths to practice under their own licensing agency without persecution. Dr. Bigelsen was appointed by Gov. Babbitt to head the agency, which he did until 1986. The Homeopathic Law in Arizona was the first law in 100 years to break the monopoly of AMA medicine. In 1993 Dr. Bigelsen was indicted with a Medicare felony totaling $3500 after a three-year grand jury investigation. At the same time, Senator Bill Frist’s family who set up the first HMO named HCA, was given a misdemeanor and fined $1.7 billion for Medicare fraud and paid by check. Dr. Bigelsen was convicted of $145 worth of Medicare fraud and was ordered to give up all of his licenses and not practice medicine in the United States again. Today, he resides in California where he works as a “nutritional” consultant. He is the author of 4 books: “You Cure For Cancer”, “Holographic Blood”, “The US Medical Conspiracy”, “Doctors Are More Harmful Germs”
