Biography

Embrace Your Vision with Judy Redlich

Judy Redlich has been leading the way for people with disabilities for more than 30 years. Her talent and determination earned her the “Woman of the Year” in Media Relations Award in 2009 from The National Association of Professional and Executive Women.

A seasoned broadcaster Judy produced and hosted “The Christian Connection” a weekly television show, for twenty years, for which she won a bronze Telly award. During this time she honed her skills as a reporter and helped linked the Christian community with understanding and knowledge of current events locally and on the global scale. She also hosted and produced (Cry Justice) a radio show discussing issues other media were afraid to touch. Currently, as Manager of Joni and Friends Gateway, she is responsible for administrating and implementing the programs of the international disability organization, Joni and Friends. Her office serves Missouri and Southern Illinois. Judy also travels internationally with Joni and Friends’ Wheels for the World program.

As advocate for people with disabilities, Judy can speak from authority. Born blind, she has overcome incredible challenges, emerged with confidence and is now sharing her stories and inspiration with radio audiences around the world on Embrace Your Vision.

Judith and her husband, Raymond are elders at Trinity Assembly of God Church; their family leads worship there regularly. In her spare time, Judith enjoys spending time with family, writing, traveling, and public speaking.
Mrs. Redlich and her husband have two children, David and Melody, and they live in St. Louis, MO. Her Seeing Eye dog, Velda is her constant companion.
