Last week was the fiftieth anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s “I have a Dream” speech. In the 150 years since Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation, black Americans and others have traded one form of bondage and servitude for another. Race relations and the plight of black America has dramatically worsened at the hands of the democrats and President Obama. The very ones that promise to lead the black community to the Promised Land have led them into a wilderness of despair for well over forty years. In America this Week, Nathan Martin is fighting to hold the government to the promises made to those who served the nation. And a former role model for America’s children has found herself in the hot seat of Friend or Foe.
