Inside Cosmetic Surgery Today – Neuromodulators & Dermal Fillers: latest use reviewed by Dr Lycka & Dr Jang
Neuromodulators is the name for a group of drugs which are used in cosmetic dermatology to treat lines and wrinkles. Botox is the most widely known, but there are some new neuromodulators available, two of which are Xeomin and Dysport. Confused by the choice? To simplify this problem, this week your show host & Edmonton cosmetic dermatologist Dr Barry Lycka talks once again with Dr Frances Jang, a fellow cosmetic dermatologist based in Vancouver. Dr Jang provides some excellent information on these newer neuromodulators. She also discusses how some of the latest fillers are being used with great results to provide non-surgical rejuvenation of the jawline, an often overlooked but essential feature of the face for both men and women, and a key element to having a beautiful face.
