The show this week focuses on the perspective of a dad. Bill Williams lost his son to a drug overdose a little over a year ago. How does he feel about what happened to his son? What does he think about the current trends and how we can help stop them? Does he see a difference in how dads deal with addicts in the family than how moms do? How can we support dads?
Bill is a director, teacher, and private acting coach in Manhattan. He has taught students who have gone on to professional lives as working actors in film, on television, on broadway, Off-Broadway, and at regional theaters across the country. Today, in addition to this profession, he is committed to education and awareness about addiction, and to encouraging conversation on this topic.
