Support of the end of the War on Drugs does not mean support for the use of drugs. This is a recurring theme when talking to responsible people about their perspectives regarding the War on Drugs. Last week this show was a replay of an interview with Dr. David Nathan, a doctor’s point of view about the legalization and decriminalization of marijuana. The interview took place about 6 months before the marijuana laws changed in Colorado. This week Denise interviews Retired Deputy Chief of Police in Los Angeles Stephen Downing about his views on these new laws and about the Six Month report just out this week about the first six months of legalization of marijuana in Colorado.

Chief Downing supports (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) and refers to details of this weeks report in the interview. Here is his recap of this week’s press conference.
