“Make new friends but keep the old
One is silver and the other gold”

That song has stuck with me —through many experiences in the territory of friendships. I have moved to new places more than once in my life and found out it can be challenging to make new friends as an adult.

There is an equal, though different, challenge with maintaining the bonds with old family and friends who are no longer a part of my everyday life.

Friendships are one of the great treasures in life. Silver and Gold and sometimes, if you are lucky, Platinum! Keeping and maintaining them when you change your location is worthwhile, for sure.

Navigating this territory of big changes in your life, both geographically and in relationships, is the topic of conversation today.

Kat and her regular guest, Kate Nash owner of Cosmotion, engage in a wonderful conversation about how each has navigated these friendship waters while making significant changes in their lives. You will enjoy this one.
