One of the most beautiful aspects of being human is our ability to think from different spaces of our being. We can think rationally with our minds, or think emotionally from our hearts. We even think involuntarily with our bodies.
A majority of the time, these locations of thought are working in symphony to provide us with our reactions to outward and inward stimulus. These reactions are the result of a complex, interwoven, embedded conversation between the sources that calls forth past experiences, learned behavior, personal opinions, etc. But if we aren’t careful, we quickly become subject to that conversation rather than the subject of that conversation.
