World is becoming a smaller place. Today’s advancements have rendered the geographical boundaries meaningless. Our yesterday’s neighbors are becoming our today’s roommates. We are becoming more dependent on each other and the environmental, political or economic issues are not limited to one country or one region, but they are global and they affect each and everyone one of us no matter where they take place. To explore that and evaluate the role of spirituality in that mix, I invited Dr. Lester Kurtz the author of “God in The global village”. Lester Kurtz is professor of sociology at George Mason University, where he teaches public sociology, social movements, civil resistance, conflict, comparative religions, and theory.
