A child bride at 14 years of age, by the time she was 17 years old she had sustained severe burns over two-thirds of her body, after her husband in a jealous rage set her on fire. Today, this young Somalia woman’s story is in the early stages of becoming a documentary to highlight the violence that still scars girls and child brides all over the world. Join us as we talk with Kat Moon an award winning Film and Video Producer and Documentary Filmmaker who founded Walking in my Shoes Media.
