Wholehearted Parenting

Bonnie Compton APRN, BC, CPNP

Wow, it’s 2014 already? Where did 2013 go? This is the time of year we hear…A New Year…a New You. We’ve probably all made New Year’s Resolutions, only to break them a few weeks later. Today, we’re going to continue our conversation that we began last week…we’ll be talking about how we can create a life filled with peace, ease and joy for ourselves and our family. We’ll be exploring ways to connect with our children and build loving healthy relationships.

I do know that parenting is a fulltime job and sometimes the best we can do is just get through the day. I also know that when we are more conscious of our choices, more intentional in our parenting, the rewards are great for both ourselves and our children.

I’ve invited my guest Carrie Contey, to join our conversation today. Carrie is an internationally recognized coach, author, speaker and educator. Her work offers a new perspective on human development, parenting and family life. Carrie received her PhD in prenatal and perinatal psychology and is masterful at synthesizing and articulating the science, psychology, and spirituality of humanhood. Her work offers a new perspective on children, parenting, family life and being a healthy, happy, whole human being. By guiding, supporting and inspiring her clients to live the life they are here to enjoy, she encourages living with a wide open and courageous heart.

I hope you’ll join us!
