Biography

Hope, Healing and WellBeing with Mary Treacy O’Keefe

As a result of her own experience as a breast cancer survivor, Mary is the co-founder and President of Well Within, a nonprofit holistic wellness resource center in St. Paul, MN. (www.wellwithin.org) She has a master’s degree in Theology, is a spiritual director, author, inspiring speaker and retreat leader. Her presentations and writings are designed to help reduce stress and anxiety and foster hope, healing and spiritual growth for a variety of audiences.

Mary has also has been trained as a Cancer Guide and as a Mind, Body Skills facilitator by the Center for Mind Body Medicine in Washington, D.C. She is passionate about helping individuals become ‘well within’ and live as fully as possible, especially when they or their loved ones are facing health crises and other life transitions. Mary’s first book, Thin Places: Where Faith is Affirmed and Hope Dwells, received Honorable Mention from the national Independent Publishers Book Awards. She is currently completing her next book, Meant to Be: Do Things Really Happen for a Reason?
