What are polarities? Quite simply, any interdependent value pair. Often, these pairs appear to be at cross purposes with one another but are actually part of an energy system. This energy system can be intentionally tapped to promote high-performance for individuals, teams, and organization systems. In a compelling conversation, Jeanie’s guest, Cliff Kayser of XperienceIT, illustrates the power of Dr.
Barry Johnson’s Model, first with the breath polarity: the inhalation and exhalation, and then with more complex organization systems. Jeanie and Cliff discuss the basic concept and need to differentiate between a problems to be solved and a polarities to be managed. For this week’s Empowering Practice, Jeanie highlights the power of working through the Polarity Management Model on your own.
