It’s a time of economic downturn, when unemployment is high and people stay awake at night worrying about employment. We’re going to highlight the health care professions where jobs are readily available at all levels and shortages of qualified applicants is the norm. As the population ages, the health care will need even more employees and shortages will continue. Sounds like a good area for long term work! Positions as a Certified Nursing Assistant or a Medical Technician require only a few months of training, often available locally. Nursing positions, requiring two to four years education are also easily found. Even doctors are in short supply.
