Seeing technologies demonstrated and explained that would significantly impact the balance of payments, including a dramatic reduction in our dependence on fossil fuels and the pollution that is placed in the atmosphere due to the inefficiencies of present-day internal combustion engines, Adam wonders what our world would have been like if government agencies, such as the FDA, had sought to prosecute Benjamin Franklin for his discovery of the potential of electricity, in the way that various factions have suppressed, harassed, or even eliminated Americans who brought forth technology and other products that actually help people.
