Obama’s promises—“I will halve the deficit in 3 years.” (2008); “The affordable Healthcare Act will save America money.” (2009); “I am going to unify, not divide.” (2008); “Unemployment will not rise above 8% if we pass the Stimulus Bill.” (2009); via Geithner—(April 2011); “We will absolutely not suffer a downgrade of our credit by S and P.”; and, “The Financial Regulatory Reform Act (Dodd-Frank Bill) will free up capital to Main Street” (2010).

Not one of these promises—and dozens more—has proved remotely true. Quite the opposite. Confuse, obfuscate, distract, lie, divide along class levels and blame anyone and everyone else has been the MO for three years.
