Join MIT graduate and researcher Brian Peskin who has spent many years studying the metabolism of essential fatty acids (EFA)’s. We need only two kinds of EFA’s from our diet because our body can’t make them. We require Omega 3 and Omega 6 parent acids, which we can obtain from lots of different natural, fresh oils and foods.
Our body converts these parental oils into many different types of derivatives used by all the our body, especially in our circulatory and nervous systems. In fact, our body normally makes for itself the components of fish oils, which many of us take as a supplement. Problem is that processed foods and cooked foods have lower quantities of parental oils than we typically need. So change your diet and let your intelligent body supply the fatty acid derivatives you need.
