This week, host Dov Baron interviews scholar, philosopher and author Dr. Jean Houston, one the principal founders of the Human Potential Movement. A powerful and dynamic speaker Dr. Jean has served as consultant to several agencies of United Nations including UNICEF, the UNDP, and (in an advisory capacity) with President and Mrs. Clinton.  As the author of 26 books, including A Passion for the Possible and The Mythic Life, Dr. Jean Houston has joined the faculty of Evolving Wisdom, and is quickly becoming a specialist in transformative education.  In this interview, she unveils her latest project: A FREE 75-minute downloadable audio seminar entitled 3 Keys to Discovering and Living Your True Purpose! Stay tuned!

“We are living in archaic modes of ourselves,” says Dr. Jean, explaining how the meaning behind names–in the past–related greatly to one’s potential.  If your last name was Weaver, you and your family were likely to be weavers.  If your last name was a form of “chicken,” you and your family were likely to raise chickens.  Does this logic still apply today?  Dr. Jean discusses the observations she’s made on this subject throughout her world travels.

“This is the most critical time in human history. Other times thought they were it.  They were wrong.  This is it,” says Dr. Jean Houston, going on to explain how she travels the globe teaching leadership skills to those who need them most.  Are we truly in a Golden Age?  And, if so, do we have the skills to handle this new level of complexity?

Dov and Dr. Jean go on to discuss the role of women in modern society–not just in America, but around the world!  Are women in their prime as human beings right now?  Are they living to their greatest potential?  How has this new reign of powerful women changed the men of the world?–And is it for better or worse?

If you’ve ever wondered if you’re living up to your potential–and how others are!–then this is a show you don’t want to miss!
