Dr. Thomas Hudson, author of Journey to Hope, shares self-care and prevention for women and the men who love them in a passionate interview. During 20 years of working as a radiologist specializing in mammography, Dr. Thomas listened to the women who were always asking “How can I help myself?” and wrote a book for them! It’s easy reading for you and easy listening when you join this segment. He states emphatically how much our mental and emotional state affects our breast health and shares many ideas for balancing emotions.
Dr. Hudson guides us through the eyes of a doctor, saying that we need to be taught self-care ideas. His goal is to “dispel the current medical dogma that there’s nothing you can do to prevent this disease. The good news is—there’s a lot you can do. The bad news is—your doctor can’t do it for you. You have to do it for yourself.”
Look for a second interview with Dr. Hudson coming soon!
