On the edge of our seats, we anxiously watch as they pitch, kick, throw, run, catch, scoop, swing, block, and so on . . Holding breath when it comes time for my kid to perform, hoping for flawless execution. And though the odds are against perfection, there we wait. Yet another process is running. How is the other team playing, how are they behaving. What do I do when it stops being about ability and becomes more a question of manner and conduct. We know this as sportsmanship.
