This week Denise speaks with Kate, a young mom who is trying to raise young children, deal with daily choices and challenges, and cope with a husband who is an alcoholic, and about what that brings into the relationship. They discuss issues that so many young couples are dealing with and some possible choices to make and plans to implement. It is important to know that you are not alone in this. There is support. Kate talks about where she reached out for support and that there are organizations like Alanon (for those coping with alcoholism in the family) and Naranon (for those coping with addiction in the family).
Also, to help with some self care and empowerment, Denise has developed some tools and strategies for you all to use to help you cope with any chaos and drama in your lives. Check out her gift to you at her website http://addictsfamilylifeline.com/videos/
