Years ago there were no books, CD’s, DVD’s, phone apps or support systems to help us on our grief journey. Finding a book to read was a difficult if not impossible task. And now there are so many resources, that it is equally challenging to sort through the mountains of books and other resources, to find one that speaks just to you and your journey.
Having a good grief resource is like having a good friend…one who will accompany you on your journey, but not judge, push, shove or “should” on you. Today we’re going to talk about good grief resources, how to find them, where to find them and what to do with them once we have them in our hands. My guests today are Joy Johnson and Janet Sieff from the Centering Corporation in Omaha, NE. Centering Corporation is North America’s oldest and largest bereavement resource center.
