When was the last time you received really solid information about dating, love and marriage?
How much have you depended on the (old) beliefs and (outdated) ideas about love and marriage that came from your parents and grandparents?
If you are like the vast majority of people in North America the answers are probably (1) never; and (2) a lot!
Good people try hard, and do their best to find the right person and build the happiest marriage they can.
But trying hard doesn’t cut it!
You’ve heard me say so many times that Love is Not Enough. That’s why the divorce rate in North America is pushing 50% and it isn’t far behind in the UK and Australia. And the new cultural phenomenon is not to get married at all! Did you ever imagine you’d live long enough to see more people co-habitate than marry?
