As parents, it is our responsibility to keep our children safe…a job that most of us take very seriously. However, we know that as hard as we try, and as diligent as we are…bad things happen to children. We are reminded of this daily by the media.
In an effort to shed some light on child safety issues, such as infant and child abductions, child trafficking and pornography, I’ve invited my guest John Rabun to join my conversation. John is the Director of the Infant Abduction Response at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. In 2012 he retired as the Founder and Executive Vice President of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in Alexandria, VA. John has been qualified as an expert witness in forensic social work investigation for missing and exploited children cases in local, state and federal courts. He is also the author of the book “For Healthcare Professionals: Guidelines on Prevention of and Response to Infant Abductions”.
Please join our conversation…this information could be key in keeping our children safe.
