This week Denise speaks with Judy Wright, the wife of Glenn Wright, Founder of “The Most Excellent Way” ministry for addiction.  This ministry uses the bible and not the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous as the basis for their program.  Denise feels that the more choices offered, the more people will find something that can work for them and their loved ones.  It is often difficult to find a program that is not based on the 12 step model because that has been the most prevalent support offered over the past 50-70 years.  Although it helps many people, sometimes it is not just right for others.  Alternatives are important.  Judy speaks about her story and the ministry.  She offers resources like Teen Challenge and the book by Pastor Jerry Cook “Love, Acceptance, Forgiveness.
