Charmain was most unlikely to succeed in life. Born into poverty to a dysfunctional family she has proven that you can choose to think your way out of despair.
Her mindset was different to others in similar circumstances as she was able to flip an adverse set of circumstances to come out on top.
The charming and intelligent lady has a message to send to those who do not think they are worthwhile.
Just to be in her presence is to be uplifted.
Charmain’s life has not always been easy and her story stems from lived childhood experience with domestic violence, mental health, alcohol abuse and poverty in the family home. Charmain was homeless before the age of 15 years.
But she overcome all this adversity to achieve some amazing personal and professional goals.
Charmain has a Bachelor of Law, associate degree Paralegal, Diploma of Teaching, Diploma of Criminology and Certificate III in Business Management. Qualified intelligence Analyst and profiler. Profiling individuals and demographic areas.
Charmain has worked in both operational and corporate areas of policing over a 24-year period. She has 3 years’ experience working in law firms. During her career in policing, she specialised in working with families, domestic abuse, sexual assault, physical assault, and rape victims. She obtained the rank of Sergeant.
She also has experience in risk management, action planning, policies and procedures, intelligence research and analysis.
She is soon to be admitted as a Lawyer, in New South Wales. She has excelled in her studies of law and is passionate to use her professional role as a lawyer to help those who are vulnerable.
She is passionate about helping those members of the community who are vulnerable or experiencing crisis.
Charmain has been admitted as a lawyer has begun practicing law.
Former Secretary Committee Member of Hastings Businesswomen’s Network and is a current board member for Lifeline Mid North Coast.
