Tony Christie Talks About Death – You Gotta Love It

Roberta Grimes

Our guest today is Tony Christie, who is the author of a playful and helpful book called Death – You Gotta Love It. Since my own first nonfiction book is entitled The Fun of Dying, of course I was immediately intrigued when an agent pitched to us that book title! Tony’s book is said to be a bold and compassionate exploration of life’s most misunderstood transition. Rather than approaching death with fear, Tony Christie invites readers to see it through the lens of love, awareness, and transformation. He draws on years of personal healing, spiritual practice, and deep inner inquiry, and he presents death not as an end, but as a doorway — an integral part of a greater, continuous journey of life. Which, of course, is just what death actually is. But Tony came at studying death from a hard and full life. He was A senior manager, a father of four, and a dedicated triathlete, living a life defined by endurance, responsibility, and achievement. But beneath the surface, the relentless pace that he was keeping was taking its toll. It was only when he reached a point of complete physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion, where life itself forced him to stop — and to question whether there might be a more balanced and meaningful way for him to live. What followed was a profound fifteen-year journey of healing and self-discovery. Tony immersed himself in a wide range of holistic therapies, and he didn’t only study those practices, but he experienced them deeply, seeking peace, clarity, and fulfilment. Along the way, he uncovered a powerful truth about himself: he discovered that he was highly sensitive, often absorbing energies and emotions that were not his own. He learned to navigate this inner landscape, and that became a turning point that guided him toward a place of balance, centeredness, and personal freedom. This transformation inspired Tony to share what he had discovered. Through his Labyrinth Wisdom Cards, and his earlier book, which was called Labyrinth – Your Path to Self-Discovery, he introduced others to the healing and reflective power of the labyrinth. Leaving behind his corporate career, Tony fully embraced his new spiritual path. He began to offer one-to-one sessions, group work, and teachings rooted in his lived experience. At the heart of Tony’s work today is a daily meditation practice, which continues to reveal new sources of insight and inspiration. From this foundation have emerged new modalities, such as Melchizedek Labyrinth Healing, and Golden Sphere Energetics, as well as his teachings on death, consciousness, and living simultaneous lives. He describes himself as a Messenger of Oneness, devoted to sharing messages that encourage unity, healing, and a deeper understanding of existence. In Death – You Gotta Love It, Tony shares the insights gained from his journey, offering readers a new relationship with death—one that softens fear, deepens connection, and ultimately transforms how we live. Today, he continues to guide and support others through his writing, workshops, and healing work, helping people to heal their emotional wounds, rediscover their inner strength, and step into their lives as empowered creators of their own destinies.
