Carl Welte enables organizational leaders and teams to achieve desired business results by helping them build the leadership and organizational capabilities to do so. His more than fifty years of leadership organizational, management, consulting, and coaching experience has equipped him with the requisite wisdom to provide practical and proven insights and methods important for being a successful leader.
In addition to his rigorous study of leadership and organizational effectiveness, Carl has lived his passion. He has done so through the important leadership roles he has held in various organizations and professional associations; designing and providing numerous leadership training and development programs for both organizations and universities; and through his vast and relevant consulting and coaching experience.
He is the author of three books related to the content of this podcast series. They are: Making and Fulfilling Your Dreams as a Leader: A Practical Guide for Formulating and Executing Strategy; Building Commitment: A Leader’s Guide to Unleashing the Human Potential at Work; and, Communicating about Differences: Understanding, Appreciating, and Talking about Divergent Points of View. He has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco. Carl lives in Novato, CA with his wife Dee. They have three children, six Grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
