How much do we want to do to make sure that our loved ones are safe? Are we prepared to do things out of our comfort zone? Is it more important to keep them safe or to stop their use of drugs or abuse of alcohol or to do whatever we can to help keep them alive no matter what their choices?
This week’s show is an interview with Eddie Einbinder whose book “How to Have Fun and Not Die”, the winner of the 2008 New York Book Festival grand prize, stirs quite a bit of controversy when it comes to the subject of what information we really want to know and what we think our loved ones should know. His new documentary, “Play Safe”, is a very visual account of what young people are doing these days and how they might be able to do it more safely. If after you listen to this interview and view some scenes from his documentary you’d like to comment to Eddie please feel free to email him at [email protected].
I’d like to also encourage anyone who’d like to discuss this with Denise to email her at [email protected]
