In this episode, Dr. Mercy presents various ideas about Consciousness, beginning with the theories of Sigmund Freud and Dr. Carl Jung about the conscious mind and the unconscious. She draws upon the Hindu gunas or states of being as named in the Sanskrit, ‘tamas rajas and sattwa.’ The Tibetan Buddhists also believe in three states of being called the three kayas. Dr. Mercy uses these traditions and the books of Dr. David Hawkins to describe the lower and higher levels of Consciousness and ends with methods to achieve higher Consciousness during our lifetimes.
