Ladies, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we are NOT saving enough for retirement! On this weeks episode, I talk with Jeff Rose from Good Financial Cents about actionable steps we can take to start saving for retirement. If you haven’t been saving a dime towards your future, don’t worry we tell you how you can start doing that. One easy way Jeff and I discuss is to start your account at Betterment.com. If you’ve been intimidated by investing on your own, Betterment takes the worry out of that! If you have been saving through your employers 401k or on your own, but you’re not sure if you are doing it right, we are going to talk about that too! One common way to invest in your 401k is through target dates and Jeff talks about how he discourages them. I want every single one of you to listen to this because it’s a super important topic for every Smart Girl out there! Be sure and listen so you don’t end up eating cat food on crackers during your retirement years.
