Asha, whose name means Hope, enlightens our listeners about the way of life offered at Ananda Communities, the inspiration of their founders, and the possibilities to find Unity and Center through initiation into the practice of Kriya meditation. Kriya Yoga was practiced and brought to the US by Paramhansa Yogananda the author of Autobiography of a Yogi. He taught that meditation is the highest activity within a human life. His disciple Swami Kriyananda founded the Ananda Communities to offer a spiritual life for practitioners and presently they flourish throughout the world. Asha also talks with Dr. Mercy about their new film Finding Happiness which describes these communities through the eyes of a journalist. Screenings are available in many places and can be brought to groups on request. More information is available at Ananda.org.
