In this episode of the Breakout with Newt Gingrich podcast, Newt discusses how
inefficiencies in the current healthcare system, as well as an aging population will
force both the government and the private sector to create new methods to treat
and cure illness’s that affect millions of Americans and will continue to do so in the
coming decades. With Alzheimer’s disease projected to cost taxpayers twenty trillion
dollars from now until 2050, it is imperative to find breakout solutions that move us
closer to both lowering the costs associated with treating the disease and eventually
finding a cure for it. Breakthroughs in the field of regenerative medicine will also
completely change the way in which we approach treating and curing individuals who
suffer from many different diseases.
