In his speech, Newt discusses how elites in both political parties refuse to acknowledge just how real the threat of radical Islamic groups like ISIS is. Both the Obama administration and the State Department continue to be unwilling to tell the American people that we are in a war and it will take several decades to defeat this enemy, just as it took several decades to defeat the Soviet Union. It is imperative that our leaders, alongside our allies around the world, understand, engage and destroy this enemy.
