Replace Stress, Anxiety, and Burnout with Joy
Connie‘s motivational quote today is by, ― Jonathan Groff
“Just follow your joy. I think that if you do that, life will take you on the course that it’s meant to take you .”
Don’t you just love words like, “joy,” and “happiness?” Both are so full of energy and generate a wonderful feeling inside. Yet, joy and happiness seem to be fleeting in our society and replaced with stress, anxiety, and burnout. Why? What’s going on in our society to be causing such a huge shift from words and emotions that feel so good? Can we regain control and reignite joy and happiness? I sure hope so!
Today your host, Connie Whitman speaks with Halli Bourne. Halli is going to discuss the creativity crisis we’re witnessing in our culture, our companies and most shockingly in our children’s classrooms using her unique approach that combines teaching,
meditation, yoga and coaching. Despite the endless self-help books,Ted Talks and creativity “experts,” we’re facing a marked decrease in creativity, record high levels of stress, anxiety and burnout that seems to have permeated every level of society.
The answer, according to Halli, lies in what she calls Artful Living. It’s a set of tools that allow a person to stop running toward
creativity and instead harness the power that comes from understanding you are coming from creation. If you want to own your creative potential— you must begin by owning the powerful forces of creation, passion, and joy that reside deep within your soul.
Halli brings her twenty years plus of study in yogic teachings, meditation, ancient and modern spirituality, depth psychology and
energy medicine, as well as her sincerity and intuition to her coaching and teaching. In the presence of her wisdom, empathy and insight, clients and students are empowered to turn within, to discover and calibrate their inner compass for living a life infused
with meaning and creativity. As a writer, musician, visual artist, dancer, psychonaut and entrepreneur, Halli embodies the essence of artful living.
