We will take a road trip and spend a little time getting to know an extraordinary person in our lives. Self-compassion is an expression of long term health and commitment. When we can commit to caring for ourselves as much as we would care for a best friend, we will look at ourselves differently.

Practicing self-compassion allows us (gives permission) to be honest with ourselves. We do not make excuses for mishaps. We look at mistakes face to face and reflect on what we learned. Then we adjust our lifestyle so that we will not make the same mistakes. Self-compassion strengthens our self-responsibility so much that we begin to see ourselves in love. Feb 15, 2021
