I am often asked what has been attributed to my successful corporate and business careers. For me that answer is simple. It has always been about the client’s journey and experience. To create this safe environment for my clients I had to become really good at developing my communication skills.
About 35 years ago I was trained in a behavioral model called DiSC. DiSC is a behavioral model introduced and used since the early 1900s. I became so enamored with DiSC that eventually I got certified. What’s the importance of this story?
Well, I have used behavioral models during my entire career and business. For me this type of tool is mandatory for us to navigate and shift so we connect with our clients and prospects (really anyone we speak with – humans) at a deeply emotional, and energetic, level.
So, a colleague and I created our own communication model. We wanted it to be easy to take, easy to use, and more importantly easy to implement with every human conversation our clients and prospects had.
That was the gift I offered at the onset of this show.
